I never liked Baby Soft because of the musk tones. I like citrus notes in my perfume. When I was in the Love's demographic I wore the Love's Fresh Lemon. I have a clear memory of wearing it when I was about 15. I was visiting my grandmother in the heat of summer. When I got into the elevator, I caught a whiff of myself and I smelled like cooked lemons -- maybe like a lemon meringue pie. I stopped wearing perfume until I could afford something fancier.

Wasn't there a heinous shampoo that went with it? I remember liking Jean Nate for the same reason at the same time - maybe junior high? I think the shampoo had a really drying straw-inducing effect.
