Ironweed displays the score of his favorite soccer team, Celtic, as his sig line. Recently he started adding the name of the goal scorer, as well as the time (of the 90 minute game).
Currently his sig line reads og, which means "own goal" in soccer. An "own goal" is when you fuck up and cause the ball to go in your own goal. Flower and Ironweed were discussing whether it is appropriate for the time of such a mis-step to be included in a game line score. Why Ironhead couldn't explain this like I have is beyond me. With proponents like these, does anyone wonder how the game could still be so unpopular?
