Depends on who Tweedy fired most recently. Alt-country is sorta kinda the best genre to put them in, though lately they're more alt than country.
What about Jazz? There's an early 90s Joshua Redman live album that I think is awesome. Not to mention the DiMeola, Lucia, and McLaughlin Live in San Francisco album.
