That said, how much do you think the person going out on 100 dates in a month gets paid?

When I tried online dating, I subscribed to Match.com for 3 months and didn't renew. (I didn't really find good matches for me, FWIW). If I were on the fence about whether or not to renew and I sudddenly heard from a hot guy and we're emailing but haven't met yet, I might renew for some short period on the hopes of this developing. If I had already reached the point of a date with said hot guy, I would probably let it lapse. If the date went nowhere, you can still go back. If you go out again (and maybe again), I would start to think I don't need new people to juggle in.

If it's true, I guess maybe it could be geared towards a man who wants many dates versus a spinster looking for a relationship. If that's the case, should the suit also have a gender discrimination component?
I have heard that EHarmony - god that man on the commercials bothers me - because they control the process, will send you not very good matches for the first 3 mos, and then much better ones if you renew.

It's all a nasty business.
