As partial compensation for never posting more of my amusing and/or humilating online dating experiences, I will reply. People have likened Match.com to [box store name of your choice]. Craig's List is completely random and hit or miss. It used to be more exclusively liberal do-gooder yuppies. These days, at least in Boston, it really gets all walks of life -- at least all the walks that would post to online boards. I have old-style blue collar Italian neighbors who found tenants on Craig's List.
