LINCOLN, Neb. - ABC sportscaster Brent Musburger had a pretty expensive beer.

He was charged with drinking it in a moving vehicle, and paid a $144 fine. Musburger was a passenger in the vehicle.

The 66-year-old Musburger was cited Sept. 17 outside Memorial Stadium after calling Nebraska’s game against Pittsburgh. He was one of several people cited for similar alcohol offenses that Saturday, police said.

According to records from the Lincoln city attorney’s office, Musburger paid the fine on Oct. 20 rather than show up in court. He was fined $50 for the open container of alcohol, $50 for drinking from it and $44 in court costs.
Have you never been to a college football game? There are probably more people doing this than not.
