Currently ranked #1 in searches on WordSpy. (n. A dandyish narcissist in love with not only himself, but also his urban lifestyle.) Earliest known citation: November 15, 1994. It's older than the FB itself.

Also on WordSpy, I found a coined word that summarizes a concept I've been discussing with a couple friends who teach high school. They complained that their students were surprised and outraged that they couldn't simply re-submit failing papers with the suggested corrections, or retake failed tests --- in other words, take a Mulligan on all their failures. My theory was that video gaming had evolved a student culture in which problem-solving and experimentation risks would readily be undertaken, but firm and permanent consequences objected to, because video games permit do-overs until you complete the level. Turns out, a term was coined by the Mainichi Daily News in 1996 --- "reset generation." Wish I'd thought of it.
