I agree that that was a bullshit call. But Wade had been taking it to the Mavs so hard and so often that you can be assured the dumbass refs would anticipate a foul call. Blame the Mavs for being thoroughly outplayed by one guy they can't develop a defense to stop. I haven't seen anyone else (besides Payton) actually make a shot in the rare opportunity they deny him the ball in the 3rd or 4th quarter.
Avery Johnson is an idiot for making the time out signal and then pretending, after his guy did what he told him, that he meant he wanted a time out after the second free throw. I used to like Avery Johnson, but his rantS (plural) after the cheap shot by Stackhouse and his time out mistake and on-court tirade are making me sick.
What is the most surprising to me is the fact that Gary Payton can make big-time, clutch shots. I'm floored.
Who knew Jason Terry was this good? The Mavs would be completely lost without him.

That said, close game last night and this is still anyone's series. One big game from Dirk and it's a coin-flip. If the Heat don't close it out in Game 6 (like I said they would), they lose.

On another note, why don't the caddies for players like Van de Velde and Mickelson break or "lose" their problem clubs when they know there's a good chance their guys are about to implode?
