Their excessive use of Britishisms sometimes annoys me -- I really think that most of the time that they throw in "tyres" and "petrol" and "lorries" and "queue" just to appeal to Anglophiles here in the US.

For the love of God, it is a London newsmagazine. Its writers are all English. When I was in Law School you couldn't find it anywhere in San Diego - not even in the Airport. It is just recently that it has become popular in the U.S. Would you complain if the "Financial Times' use the word queue or petrol?
