2 observations from the last three innings I watched.
1) Was the NC player safe when he tried to steal home? He looked like he slid under the tag. Anyway, pretty balsy to try to steal home in a tie game in game 3 of the CWS.
2) OSU nearly turned a DP on what turned out to be a foul ball. They never showed the replay, but the 2B had what appeared to be the fastest turn ever. It was as if he was throwing the ball while catching it at the same time. I think one of the announcers described it as merely "redirecting" the throw.

1) I think that was the end for them. Who the hell tries to steal home? Sure, if you're being blown out, that's one thing. But that was either incredibly ballsy coaching or a massive brain fart. I saw several angles (2?) and it was a very close call - could have gone either way. But ump went with the fact that catcher already had the ball and you're an idiot for trying to steal
2) Are you talking the one earlier in the game where the guy was falling away and still made the throw to first? Or the one in the 9th when 2nd baseman caught and threw it in one movement? Because both were pretty amazing. For Beavers.
