Is that he's a TV exec supposed to give him some Big Biz cred I should defer to, being the nasty GOP-leaning Libertarian I am? Or is it meant to imply he's in such a cutting edge industry, he couldn't be anything but understated and droll?
Would it shock you if I told you television is not a repository of high IQs? Would you gasp if you were to learn running a successful business and being a bleeding heart aren't mutually exclusive?
I've listened to the man and I find him shrill and naive. I applaud the grass roots effort's success. It's an example of our system's brilliance. Sadly, this is the wrong example, at the wrong time, lauded by people without the eyes or experience to realize they're winning the sort of battle which will ultimately lead them to lose the war.
