Current lunch plan:
A local place has a "sandwich" as follows:
- fried eggplant slices, with shaved turkey meat between, sitting on a bed of sauteed spinach. The eggplant, which provides a faux bread, is slathered with a spicy garlic sauce.
Of course, no "upscale food court" would have such a dish- if it sounds appealing, I suggest the following:
- go to Sbarro- get the eggplant parmesan- dry- hold the sauce. then, go to the deli- shaved turkey sandwich - hold the bread. then go to the middle eastern place- get the shwarma with garlic sauce- hold the shwarma. Finally, get some sauteed greens. Maybe there is a southern place? collards could probably work. arrange on plate.
I'm having a glass of pinot grigio- don't know if the food court sells wine. maybe these wine boxes with straw Ty keeps touting?
