It is quite remarkable that McDonalds would do this for health reasons. Meanwhile, what were considered "large" fries when we were kids are now "regular" size, and every portion has become ginormous.

Maybe McDonalds could, consistent with their heart-stopping, artery-clogging marketing strategy reintroduce the fried pie, although in a "regular" size that is smaller than the current ("reduced calories!"). Then, in a brilliant marketing move introduce, six months later, the "large-size" pie, and the "super-sized pie" ("12 inches of crunch deep fried tongue-burning gooeyness!")* Brilliant.




*Not to be confused with sex-like burning.
