This is consistent with the Ds rationale that Iraq wasn't a threat to the US, the terrorists should be treated as lawbreakers, felons, not as enemy combatants. Providing extraordinary rights and giving extraordinary consideration to the Islamofacists is consistent with pretending that the current President of Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas or Al Qeada can be negotiated. They are all part of the GWOT and its time for the Ds to step aside and let the adults run this show without your whiney whinging and handwringing.
