Of course, anyone who claimed to have been molested was dismissed, but there were a bunch of those already and it felt wrong to lie about something like that when the woman next to me went up to the judge in tears. Maybe if I had said I do some white collar stuff in connection with the securities I would have been dismissed.
That ain't nothing. I got stuck on a 6 week (6 WEEK!!!) felony murder trial. Being a lawyer doesn't help at all. In fact, if you're with a firm (or at least a decently sized one), I think it hurts because they know the firm will give you the time.
