I was just thinking about the term "whoreish" and how silly it is now to apply it in a derogatory way to circumstances in which one takes money for sex. I think the reason why that kind of activity is looked down upon is because way back when, your virtue and worth was all tied up in how chaste you kept yourself, so you were really "selling-out" if you gave that up for money. But these days, aside from some freaks, no one thinks that chastity is a measure of worth. I suppose what I am trying to say is that if someone is whoreish because they sell out their principles for money, that is worse behavior than someone who is whoreish because they take money for sex.
