The bet had nothing to do with whether or not the guy was a liberal or a conservative. You bet me that it came from one of Ty's pet sites.
First, it's not a blog. Second, the site itself, which includes the entirety of the pages associated with the primary URL is a general information site. Third, go ahead and find a couple of prior citations. If you can, I'll pay up. If you can't, then you can let RT decide if a single citation makes it a "pet site."
