It might be, depending on the fabric. If they shrink even a tiny bit, you may never be able to get them back on, and even if you do, your cushions might end up lumpy.
I recommend you call the manufacturer. Even if it's okay, they may have advice for you regarding what method the cleaner should use to clean the fabrics.
It might be safer to have someone come to your house to clean the upholstery.
