Mine is far too loud and, worse, can't be turned off.
It's not a Kenmore product, though, and I hope to replace it soon with a Kenmore that has an optional, soothing beep instead of a buzz.
BTW, I predict: index and middle, with the blade, removing it from your dishwasher.
