I think dryers buzz because if you leave your clothes in the dryer, they can get wrinkles that they wouldn't have if you took them out promptly. Washers they are as wrinkled as they are going to get after the spin cycle, so as long as you don't leave them in for days, it should be fine.

Yes, I know fancy-pants dryers keep periodically doing one partial turn to keep clothes from wrinkling.

Both my sister and my parents have Bosch dishwashers and I covet one. They are so so so so quiet.
