Her fame must have been in mid fleet. I think some stars actually get harassed and can't get from point A to B in a hurry without looking like an asshole when they don't stop to chat with everyandanyone. But she did it because she probably
wasn't getting stopped anymore. At least now people will ask, "Who's that?" She's probably not concerned that they wouldn't know if she took the get-up off.
