What was the point of that comment? I have had, and probably will have a negative net worth for the rest of my life. Sorry Thrasher, I don't think I'll ever pay off that mortgage - it's just not in me. And the student loans. Does he think he's the only person who ever went to law school and accumulated student loans? That job at the Gap must not have paid very well.

(That, or you aren't taking into account that a house is a tangible ASSET and ASSETS are taken into account in determining net worth. Particularly tangible assets.)
