Would you rather have your star pitcher throw a 95 mile an hour fast ball that he can't get over the plate or a 80 something change up that he can place just where he wants it? (Because every good sex question deserves a sports metaphor).
The ones who waste a natural talent are a tragedy. The ones who do the most with what they are given deserve praise (and to be called on to pitch a few more games).
