  The second part of your analogy is so ridiculous, it's not worth responding to.
I think your statement was completely overreaching and now you're just trying to back it up by being ridiculous.  Kidd Rock might think Apple is being unfair to everyone, but it is quite clear that no one gives a shit what Kidd Rock thinks, including other artists who overwhelmingly sell their music to Apple.  Therefore, his position is to be taken for what it 
actually is--a failed negotiating ploy.  I know that's what it is.  You know that's what it is.  But if you want to call it socialism, go ahead.  You'll just look ridiculous for doing so.
