That channel used to be MHD for Music: High Definition, and now it's called Palladia. I agree with your thesis about female country music star hotness. Not sure whether metal/hardcore acts would be more telegenic than male country singers.
The other thing about country videos is that they seem to be made with a lot more production values than rock videos these days. Maybe that's because MTV doesn't play videos, so only rap videos (BET) or country videos (CMT) get played. Here's a (recent?) LeeAnn Rimes video to prove my point about production values.
Link This doesn't mean that I think LeeAnn Rimes is one of the hottest women in country. I am pleased that she is 26, because even though I'm not sure how that happened, it doesn't make me a pervert for noticing that she;s got nice legs.
