The Wikipedia talk page for the show says that they do speaking engagements, mostly at churches, where attendees are encouraged to buy autographed photos and to make "cash love offerings" for the family. I think the veiled reference to a job change with more flexible hours may be just that. Also, Jon recently accepted a free hair transplant under the theory that his receding hairline is the fault of his "stressful" family -- by which I assume he means his shrew of a wife.
