Our local Santacon crew is moving festivities to the deep burbs, apparently because Portland cops were getting a bit too unreceptive to drunk Santas. Portland cops tend to have itchy taser fingers.

There was a story on NPR last Friday on the Portland thing! I missed Houston all together because of another party in the country, though I suspect that a bunch of Santas are going to hit the ice rink downtown for another go sooner or later.
