There's a church in our diocese where the clerical attire includes a kente trimmed kufi. These guys are whiter than me -- shit, man, they were
born Episcopalian, and even I'm more ethnic than that -- but these brothers are bad-ass in their robes and kufis. The ability to wear a kente kufi made me briefly reconsider my vocation for the first time since well before puberty. It goes to show that what unites the Anglican Communion is neither dogma nor ritual -- it's good taste.
