To be fair, none of the movies you mentioned include Patrick Swayze or Wesley fucking Snipes in drag.
And you can make fun of
Elf and
Powers, but
Weird Science is a tour de force and
The Jerk is no slouch either.
I think ridiculous comedies don't get their due. I'll never understand why dramatic actors are thought of as so very talented and deserving of great respect and reverence when great comedians are not. But no matter how you look at it,
