The Party is hilarious. And being there is a comedy because it is a satire, in the most classic sense of the word. However, because we live with philistines, who would not even understand, let alone appreciate, most of the humor in Being There, I left it off the list.

And Diner is also a wonderful movie, again, one of the best ever made, but it is not a comedy. I would label it a period piece. Which reminds me, I haven't had fries with gravy for years.
