** I have been stumped as to who between Michael Jordan and Cindy Crawford was more of a sell out during his/her advertising heyday. Mike gets some points for the fact that some of the products he was schilling were actually owned by him, but the lameness of some of the products (Ray-o-vac batteries?!) cut the other way. Cindy might have been selling fewer products but the fact that she sold out to Kay Jewelers when we all know she wouldn't wear one of those .001 carat diamond necklaces for fear of staining her neck hurts her overall score.

Jordan was a hero to millions, a star athlete with tremendous talent who pushed himself to the limits and did things no one had ever done on a court before.
Crawford was a model who starved herself, smiled alot, and took off her clothes.
Was there anything for Crawford to sell out? To me, it seems like she was just used goods looking for a new owner.
