I think straight up mysteries are ok too. I saw most of the Agatha Christie ensemble movies at a relatively young age and didn't come out all that scarred. Murder on the Orient Express is my personal favorite, but Death on the Nile is also pretty good. I also liked Evil Under the Sun, but I think that's mainly because the set was so lovely.
