Didn't pull up the statements (tho I have everything b/c of year-end summaries). Just used the estimation on the claim form. But you were probably out of the country 5x what I was.
The period was Feb 1, 1999 to Oct 15, 2004 (looked it up); I think I said something around 30-35 days. I believe that every single night of those was spent in a (non-budget) hotel charged to Amex. So I got $15 (for having the card pre-99--per the settlement notice
here, if you're interested) and all conversion fees charged (which I guess Amex actually documented).
