A bunch of friends of mine are in
the Mutaytor, and their shows are a hell of a lot of fun. One of them just sent this e-mail off to one of my lists, and I thought I'd pass it on to the LA contingent here (and anyone who might be visiting LA this weekend).
I think at least two of you live within walking distance of this event. Sounds like a really awesome time.

if yer not too allergic to the drive to the westside - we'll be playing a free show out at the venice beach carnivale this sat. we'll be at the corner of Windward Ave. and Speedway in Venice Beach. we go on around 8:30pm. the event goes on all day and is modeled after the actual carnivale festival in venice italy, complete with all the masks and costumes and shit.
as it is an outdoor show - we'll be given the rare opportunity to use lots and lots of scary pyrotecnics - if yer into that kind of thing
