I thought salmon lived in rivers, not the ocean.
But the REALLY important point I have to make here is that the ONLY time I have enjoyed salmon is the time I caught it myself. (Well, I like lox and peppered nova, etc., but I mean a slab of fish cooked on a grill or something -- no smoking process.)
When I caught salmon, it was in Alaska, on a river. But maybe it swam over from the ocean; what do I know? I didn't ask it.
