I did the "stop eating carbs" thing once and it had a dramatic effect on weight loss.  I was exercising a lot at the time, but still -- it did have a huge effect.  (Problem is, carbs are yummy.)
So, I'm saying, you aren't a total nut-job.  Even if you really do know day by day your food and nutrient intake, which I gotta say wigs me out a bit.
