My SO was less flexible than either of you due to a long-ago sports-related catastrophic injury before he started the core strengthening class we take. In addition to all of the great back and ab benefits, he is significantly more limber now, which aids his performance in his sport and in his life.
The instructor, before my first class, pointed out the LMA's increased flexibility and said "you're welcome."
