My most expensive pair of shoes are these wonderfully outlandish laquered platform ankle wraps from Dolche and Gabbana. I bought them probably six or seven years ago, and I love, love, love them. Every single time I wear them, people (mostly women, but some men) ask about them. I almost didn't get them when I saw the price tag, but my sister is a very persuasive enabler.
