Anyways, it's always good to think about bullpens when handicapping a game such as this. Amazing as it sounds, Red Sox bullpen has been quite good this series. Who can the Yankees really use to get to Rivera? Nelson and . . . ? I think you'd see Mussina out there before Heredia, and I think you'd see me out there before Contreras. Contreras is done. Not just for this series, but probably for his career, at least as a Yankee.
Think Hidecki Irabu. Think Ed Whitson. Done.

Speaking of done, is B.H. Kim on the Sox roster for this series?

Tomorrow will be as good as it gets. I'm hoping Pedro and Clemens pitch up to form. When Pedro's on (which usually involves a regular season game in May against Tampa), nobody is harder to hit. But Pedro rattles. Clemens' one big knock has been post-season performance, but he's answered his critics in recent years. So hard to pick. If I were betting, I think I'd look to go over a short number, on the theory that one or both of Pedro and Clemens will shit the bed. Picking a winner tomorrow is too tough. It's been an absolute classic series.
I think Wakefield will get an opportunity to pitch tomorrow. They warmed him up today, and unless Pedro goes 7 or more or the offense blows the game apart, I think he's the guy. If Mussina gets called in as you suggest, you have the opportunity for them to face each other three times.

That could be better baseball than Roger/Pedro.
