I use this pot each morning. I think it tastes better than my french press, though your taste may vary. No bitter flavors, and it looks neat. Coffee bean preference is pretty subjective, I actually like the big bags of coffee from Costco, the kirkland ethiopian or columbian or other varietals are good enough for me. Fuck you Eric Ripert, that's right, I said Costco.
