No, but my father has one, and it's not given him a problem. It's pretty new, though, so YMMV.
I wear a Casio Waveceptor (solar + auto sync time to NIST broadcast), and it has also been problem-free after five or more years, except that (1) a bit of metallic paint flaked off of a plastic part of the case, which I retouched with some silver nail polish, and it ain't exactly good as new; and (2) the times I've had to set it for a new time zone have been no fun, because as you can imagine there's only so much you can do with an UI on a watch with four buttons and a tiny LCD -- no Help menu, for sure.
