hmm, maybe - there are a large number of adults into s&m who went to catholic schools. but there are also a lot of adults who grew up in conservative/fundamentalist christian environments who are really into the "spare the rod, spoil the child" thing. interestingly enough, from my observations there are very few adults who are into s&m who did not grow up in a religious environment.
