I watched LeRON with some Lebrondwagoners and I was impressed. However, he's not really a graceful or "pretty" player like Jordan or Magic. Kind of like how Paul Pierce is great but not smooth. He's not as fluid as I expected (except with some passes, which seem more imaginative than smooth). Of course he's only 18. But Magic had it immediately.

But apparently I'm the only one who doesn't think he's that charismatic (on the court)...
Unfortunately, I missed the game and only caught the highlights this morning because I didn't feel well. That said, I think "fluidity" is overrated. I never considered Larry Bird fluid either.* I can remember watching several games that Bird played in where they showed his line at the end of the game, and I said to myself, "When the hell did he do all of that?"

I'm always wary of hype, but I've seen LeBron play before. He'll struggle this year at times and probably will wear down at points in the season, but I have never seen a kid his age play with the same kind of court sense that he has. The other good thing about him is that he's unselfish. Unselfishness can't be taught, and he's exceptionally good at sharing the ball for a kid his age. Give him some time. If he stays healthy, he will be a very special player.

*Disclaimer: No. I am not comparing LeBron to Larry Bird (they are not the same type of player), so let's not have any pointless arguments about that.
