True. But the comment was more about our lack of defense under D'Antoni than how awesome we will be at scoring. In my eyes, it was a best case scenario for a D'Antoni-coached team.
That said, I'll take my chances against anyone if we somehow bring in Paul or Williams in 2012. And yes, I know that's a pipe dream. But I believe Paul has already discussed the idea with our big two.
Do you think the NBA cuts off all the players' ability to collude? Or maybe they introduce a concept to keep players from being able to opt out so easily?

as I predicted, chauncey is showing himself an equal to the "big two" if not the best player on the team.
the thing with Carmelo, and AS for that matter, you can't tell much about a player when he is playing on a lesser team- let's see how those two can do on a great team.
