That exchange was actually about football, which any self-respecting Minnesotan should know do to the reference to 1960. 'Twasn't a big year for hoops, but it was the last football national championship for the Maroon & Gold.
And Murray Warmath died today, so you should feel extra bad.
Regardless, the Twin Cities seems like it should be more appealing than the main competitors (mostly Wisconsin and Iowa I guess) as a place to live. Unfortunately the whole sucking for 50 years thing kind of offsets.
