All I'm sayin' is that it wouldn't surprise me that a clerk/recorder would want a clear question about what was meant by photocopier. Those guys are a breed unto themselves.
ETA this was the part where the Plaintiff's lawyer revealed himself to be the source of the problem with the transcript:

Dick move by the lawyer. What a transparent effort to score points. If things went off the rails from there he has no one to blame but himself.
