"THIS is the model beauty six bachelors try desperately to bed in a new reality show — unaware she was born a MAN.

The hapless lads spend weeks battling to seduce the South American stunner in Sky One series There’s Something About Miriam.

But while viewers know her secret from the start, the boys only discover the truth after Miriam picks the winner, then lifts her skirt to reveal a full set of wedding tackle.

One embarrassed contestant was so furious at the shock revelation that he PUNCHED the show’s producer."

It is real but I don't know if it will air in the US or anywhere else. Here's the realityblurred scoop on it:

"In America, if you get screwed over by reality TV show producers, you suck it up and smile because you know it'll make you even more likely to get a job doing whatever washed-up reality TV show contestants do (witness The Joe Schmo Show, Joe Millionaire, and Boy Meets Boy). If that happens in the UK, you sue, especially if you say you've "been tricked into kissing, cuddling and holding hands with" a pre-op transsexual. On There's Something About Miriam, seven single men competed for Miriam, who "only discover the truth when Miriam pick[ed] the winner and then lift[ed] up her skirt," The Guardian reports. One contestant punched a producer; six of the contestants threatened to sue late last week (claiming, among other things, "conspiracy to commit sexual assualt") and Sky TV caved in; the show will not be included on the schedule."

Touchy, touchy.
