Ah, the painful burning in my ears is now explained. I thought it was frostbite from being in the Northwest having neglected to bring a jacket even though the temp was under 40 a large part of the time.
Having a 5 day break in my "tour of all places colder than where I want to be," and having now exhausted all my FB poker winnings on booze, I am emerging from my hole only to notice I do not see my shadow. I'm not sure if that means I am a vampire or there will be 6 more weeks of frosty travel. I suspect the latter. Luckily, my negotiation training has allowed me to worm a desert paradise conference into the mix.
