I dont actually think str8 is a bad guy or antying. He just reminds me a lot of a great many really annoying people based on his posts. If he cut out the nonsense with the namedropping and the references to the industry in most of his posts and just let his personality shine through and was himself, then he might not seem like such a wannabe. And dont get me started on the cheap ploys to seem hip despite his suitness based on trips to Hot Topix. Thats the thing with LA and the transplants. I am sure he is just a nice Jewish boy from Toronto with a good brain and a shared love of AI. It is just this "I am in the industry" pedanticism that really irks me. Especially when he really isnt.
So sorry if I made you feel bad str8, but that is why I take shots at you. I am sure you are probably a good guy deep down.
