Speaking of Man-Haters, there is a story in the Globe today headlined
Mall Santa Charged with Groping Female "Elf" that I find highly disturbing. Why in the world would you put quotes around "Elf" but nothering else in that headline? I would posit that it is more likely the gropee is an Elf than that the groper is a Santa. Does calling him a Mall Santa put imaginary air quotes around Santa because he is a Santa of the Mall and not a Santa of the North Pole? Or, did the real beard get them, so they trust it is more likely that real Santa is a groper than that some eighteen year old with a sore ass is an actual Elf. This really disturbs me. Is anyone OK with this?
